Definitely! Rip Torn was a maniac back then. Ever seen him in Norman Mailer's Maidstone? The hammer scene?

Love the balance between freeform/experimental and more structured directing. Must have given opportunity for some of the great little moments that keep on cropping up in the movie

Definitely. Thats what I love about Roeg's approach. Genuine alchemist-put elements together carefully, but then see what happens and remain open to coincidences etc

Im at the credits over here. Brilliant movie on many levels, really like the directiing, I will be on the look out for more Roeg material.
