This was really fun. I have not watched one of these since my teenage years. Too bad so much of the gore scenes were trimmed down. Kind of surprised that the cut out footage was not kept in better condition for later restoration. That head crushing would have been a thing of beauty.

Yes, it‘s awesome. Delon is really badass in this one. It’s gritty and violent but also very well made (unlike his 80ties gangster/cop films which are violent, sometimes fun, but also quite cheesy).

Score is excellent, one of Ferrio‘s best (the best imo but I might be biased as I like the movie so much).

I can understand you like this score the best when you love the accompanying movie that much. For me I prefer Duccio Tessari's gialli above anything he has made. And Ferrio scored all of them as well.
The best movie I have seen from him is: La morte risale a ieri sera. But that score remains to expensive for me. And I don't recall it at the moment.

I will start to listen to the scores I do have from him today and see where they all do stack up.

Haha. No, it is a Danish VHS-rip... Hævnens Time translates to The Hour of Revenge.

Love this flick.
The BU 4K disc looks awesome. Robert Forster and Fred Williamson still in their prime + nice appearance of Joe Spinell as a scumbag lawywer.
And that Jay Chattaway score! Shame it isn’t and likely won’t be available.

^ still need to watch that one!

I finished this one just now. Small film got pretty high reviews for the genre but I found it a bit too obvious.
