Looker dir by Michael Crichton
Finally got around to watching this in full (started it too late on a few occasions). What a fucking movie, I really had no idea where it was going and the final act was just fun. Really regret not ordering the score when I had the chance

yes, I loved Looker as well! And it is a fantastic score.

Wishmaster was a lot of fun as well. I forgot how many effects were in that one. A lot of freaky beasts. That skeleton coming out of that guy in the beginning was terrific!

Last one from 1997. And I really liked this one!

SPECIES II

but I am liking it
Definitely not a date movie, although you can't say the first one is a good date movie either.

The Night Flier dir by Mark Pavia
I really love the concept of this film, the execution on the other hand not so much. The script is riddled with cliche one liners, it's so bad that there were multiple scenes where the main character said 3-4 things that you expect that type of character to say through out the film not in succession. Miguel Ferrer is great but he's dialed up to 11 spitting out these terrible lines over and over, none of it is his fault but even he couldn't salvage the dialog. The monster at the end was really awesome and the way he escaped was quite clever. I enjoyed the film but it really could have been a classic if it had a better script.

What a cast. I had never seen this one before. Really loved it.
I watched that Saturday night as well! You have inadvertently caused me to watch a bunch of 90's horror haha. Elijah is so young in it. And I don't eve know what Josh Hartnetts care was doing in that film.

Some of my favorites that I hadn't seen or forgot about:
Legion, Jacob's Ladder, Needful Things extended cut, Chronos, Dark Waters, Night of the Demons 2, Nightwatch, Lord of Illusions, The Mangler, El Dia de la Bestia, Thinner, The Dentist, Mimic, The Relic, The Wax Mask, The Faculty...
And most of the rest were very enjoyable as well.

Haha, yes I meant his hair.

That's a hell of a lot of movies there @bez
I have always had a dislike for Leprechaun and never understood the love for it. It's a boring and bad movie. It didn't deserve sequels (especially 5 or 6 sequels).

I'm hoping I get Scream 4K for xmas from a family member. I plan on watching all 4 before the new one comes out.

I have not seen it but that is a great line.
I listened to an interview with Robert Aiki Aubrey Lowe and he said that Hildur Guðnadóttir composed much of the score before shooting. The crew would listen while filming to help get into the mood. I love this movie.
I will definitely check this one out. Never been into the batman thing....only saw the jack Nicholson one but this feels more psychological...almost like taxi driver.

I’m not a comic movie guy, but Joker is the exception that proves the rule. It’s all character development.

So I had never seen Vampires before... It is fantastic!
What would Carpenter's worst movie be?
Looking at his filmography I did not know about Memoirs of an Invisible Man? I think that is the only Carpenter movie I haven't seen. I think I have seen The Ward.
