I just checked out the trailer and synopsis for this one and I wonder ho much, if any, influence it had on the people behind Jennifer 8.

On Hulu if you have it.
Great minds. I just came here to post the same thing. Firing it up in about an hour.

I found it interesting but not that great because it wasn't scary.
yeah, not scary at all, more of a slow-burn addressing themes of mental illness and family trauma -- but loved the cinematography and how it blended actual found footage into the narrative of the film -- have listened to a couple of podcasts with the director, seems like a very personal film (history of mental illness in his family)

I'm deep into drug business again - ZEROZEROZERO. Trans-continental cocayeene business. Recommended by a couple of diff people, yep it's engaging stuff. Nihilistic, bleak, brutal.

32. Six Bullets (2012)

Again also starring his son and daughter and with some great knife fighting action. I liked JCVD in this one but the other people not so much. The appeal of these later movies definitely don't weigh up to even the average JCVD stuff from the 90s.

21. Black Eagle
22. Inferno (it is near the bottom but if you feel a bit silly do watch this one)

23. The Order
23. Second in Command
23. The Shepherd
23. Six Bullets

27. Assassination Games
28. Street Fighter
29. The Hard Corps
30. Derailed
31. Dragon Eyes (not that bad as a movie but too little JCVD in it)

Last night, after Jennifer 8, I decided to stream Inception. It was my third viewing. As with prior viewings, I enjoyed it very much. It made me want to watch Tenet again. I'm not sure why the sentiment is so strong for Inception and so lukewarm for Tenet. I'm not directing this at anyone in particular, here or elsewhere. Just something I'm mulling over. I'll watch Tenet again this week and try to crystalize my thoughts.

Prepping for the end of the month. I enjoyed this one a lot when I saw it in theaters. It's my first revisit since then and it's still every enjoyable. It's really great looking film.

Next weekend will be King of the Monsters.
