Oh man it really looks like they nailed it. Shame Raimi's just doing the first episode but I can see this being a shit ton of fun.
Good to see him back using practical effects after all of the CGI splatter from Drag Me to Hell.

I was going to create this exact thread last night....but I was too busy watching the promo on repeat....general consensus among my circle of friends is that we thought it would be cool, but this looks even better than we expected

I'm particularly enamored with the shotgun poping out of the floor and subsequent deadite kill....might be the most "raimiesque" thing I've ever seen.

Anybody else think the granny fingernail going toward the eye was a Fulci tribute? It even looks like the same camera angles as the wood splinter from Zombie Flesh Eaters.
It looks like all of our prayers of "please don't suck" might have actually worked.
