Here we go!
So...there's been a fantastic reaction to this idea, so all props to @chiefbrody for coming up with the STBC Film Club! And now that @Spencer and Fabio Frizzi have joined the party, as well as Spinners from outside the UK, it seems like we now need a new thread for live chat during the screening (Spencer is going to relay Fabio's tweets here too!) as well as a kinda rough-n-ready sync countdown.....so that's what I'm going to do.
Set notification for this thread, and I'll be back here at 9.45pm GMT to start the chat and prep the countdown clock. If you're taking part from outside the UK, I'm sure this is doable - you just need to check online and make sure you have worked out the exact time differential between 10pm GMT and your own time zone.
Obviously this isn't going to be an exact science folks! Depending which version of the film you're watching (PAL or NTSC etc...hadn't thought of that!) you may be watching the film at a slightly faster or slower rate than others!
But what the hell - it's all about having a blast and sharing our reactions to both the film AND the incredible soundtrack whose re-issue by Death Waltz is the reason we're all here now - meeting like-minded freaks, making friends, starting labels and stores, getting hyped about the New Golden Age of Vinyl Soundtracks!
