Do we have this thread already?

I've just watched open grave. Awesome psychological horror about a bunch of people who wake up with amnesia in a remote wood with a pit full if dead bodies.

I still need to watch that. I just watched Birth of the Living Dead on Netflix. Pretty good documentary on the making of Night of Living Dead. Has some good interviews with Romero as well.

I got the old Code Red release of The Visitor when it first came out. The soundtrack is, in my opinion, the only good thing about it. Yeah, it has some interesting visuals and a lot of cameo's, but over all it's just way too dull and makes no sense.

Speaking of John Huston, revisited "Fat City" last night. That movie is criminally unappreciated and mostly unknown. Sure it's about a boxer, but it's really not your typical sports movie at all. And wow, want a gut punch of an ending.

My girlfriend and I just got finished with Django Unchained. Pretty enjoyable, a little on the long side, but overall it was pretty good. Dicaprio and Samuel L were awesome. Another win for Quentin. Can't wait for "The Hateful Eight"...

Watched Birth of The Living Dead last night. Great documentary with a ton of new interview footage from Romero as well as some other interesting "authorities" on various topics. They used a lot of art from Ghoulish Gary Pullin who you may know from the recent Creepshow package art (and a bunch of other amazing horror related pieces).

Most recent watch was a documentary too, this time I managed to watch it in full...it is absolutely outstanding and Cronenberg is a certified genius, a brilliant psycho-analyst filmmaker...if I say so myself!

Available on this Videodrome Blu Ray/Dvd combo...I picked up from Germany. Doc...can be found on youtube.

Just watched the Nightmare Factory documentary on Netflix. It was enjoyable as long as you can accept the thick layer of egotism.

Watched The Dark Crystal last night for the first time since the 80's. The wife had never seen it so we decided to give it a look. Great characters and world, but I found the story to be a little on the thin side. Definitely no Labyrinth.
