Anyone in the UK who can handle truly harsh, downbeat foreign cinema, Michael Haneke's masterpiece BENNYS VIDEO is on Film Four at 1.10am.
For my money, it's one of the greatest horror films ever made.

Whow, love this movie. I saw it long time ago thinking it was a teenage movie like Stand By Me... (which I love too) What a surprise! Insane!

One of Haneke's best...the glaciation trilogy is a superb series...Arno Frisch really excels and he is brilliant in Funny Games too. Top filmmaking...Seventh Continent might be my favourite of his. Haneke makes off screen violence seem more powerful than on screen violence...i really do like his work.
