I thought it might be cool to have a thread where people could post new / old discoveries, or favourites, that others might be interested in checking out.

Post your trailers here.

I'm going to start with

Tourist Trap

A recent discovery for me. Genuinely creepy and interesting for a slasher movies of that era to contains supernatural elements. Excellent score by Pino Donaggio too

What are your essential lesser known classics?

Tourist Trap is fantastic.

This is a movie I watched a ton as a kid. It's also the movie that introduced me to Terence Hill. Super Fuzz. Here's a link to really, really, really long trailer for it ;)

Anyone seen the recent movie 'Amer' - had never crossed my radar but came across it via a video clip put out by Orgasmo Sonore?

Well filmed recent movie with some creepy visuals ... well up the street of any Death Waltz fan - can be watched over on the 'tube:

@SpunOutOfControl If you enjoy Amer I think the same people did a more recent movie called "The strange colour of your bodies tears", also worth checking out if you get a chance. I really enjoyed both. Not 100% that its the same director but there is a similar tone/mood in both.

Jugface- Finally got around to watching this. I thought it was interesting. Def worth a watch but don't get your expectations to high. Bonus has the main lady from Dune playing a crazy mom.

13 Sins- I wanted to check this out since I read the premise of the film. Had some really interesting ideas. A couple parts I was squirming in my seat. Plus a really good cast. Ron Pearlman and Tara from True Blood. She was decent in this where in True Blood I can't stand her.

@Hardrain02

Thanks for the heads up - checked out the credits on Amazon and yes it appears to be the same creative teams behind 'Amer and 'The Strange Colour of Your Bodies Tears'...

What I liked about the former was the use of old Giallo soundtrack numbers on a 'modern' film that was obviously deliberately indebted to earlier works. A bit like when Tarantino chooses obscure old classics to pep up his movies.

Thought it worked very well, but a quick search doesn't seem to show any standalone soundtracks available for either movie (?)
