Would say this is more a gangster movie as this misses the trademark hardboiled cop of a poliziottesco.
In any case I can see why this is held in high esteem by many. It’s rather bleak and more realistic than most of these films, also spending quite some time on character development. Watched it last year for the second or third time. I think it‘s good but in my view it suffers a bit from the ‚this has been done (copied) so many times since then - sometimes better’ syndrome.
I disagree that a poliziottesco needs a hardboiled cop. See Milano Rovente and Revolver. However, I do agree that Milano Calibro 9 is even more different.
The info on wikipedia gives a nice overview of the genre and its history:

As with the giallo genre there are movies that are a mix of more genres.
The brilliant database Pollanet Squad places Milano Calibro 9 in the
noir category:

But that database also places Ad Ogni Costa as a poliziesco and that movie is a heist movie and far removed from the movies mentioned above:

I am making a list of movies in the genre combine a couple of sources. It is a fun excursion so far. In a couple of weeks I will share it.
The score to Milano Calibro 9 is brilliant by the way.

It seems pretty well produced and is interesting, but it’s difficult to relate to such an extreme sociopath. I guess that is the point...
Burned through the whole thing on Friday. The music is really good.
Composed by Justin Melland. That is one sparse discography.
Watched first two episodes. The music is really good. I am sure someone will release this on vinyl. Did not know Bundy was from Tacoma. I have a feeling that a lot of stuff I have seen the past year is placed in the vicinity of either Portland or Seattle.

Its one of those ones told from the POV of a computer screen, this one predominantly about a man who acquires an Apple Mac thats not his, and gets his and his friends embroiled in a kidnapping and murder ring. The whole thing is told through the vision of his screen, that is, open Skype windows, openMessenger windows etc etc
Ah, I see. Likely that's not my cup of tea. I struggle with "found footage" films.
I watched a movie called
Searching a while ago. First and only movie I watched that was shot in that way. Never even knew it was a genre. It actually was an alright movie.
