In my quest to see every giallo film (I am only at a dozen at the moment, so long way to go
) I watched La Coda dello Scorpione. Also known as The Case of the Scorpion’s Tail.
Really loved this film.
The movie has everything: the glove, the knife, the women, the scenery, the plants, London, Athens, the detective, swimming, clues, blood, … If you are new to giallo this is a good one to start with I think.
In the end I prefer The House with the Laughing Windows. I love the more strange slow burners.
The intro is great with brilliant music. I’m listening to the Bruno Nicolai score at the moment, but don’t hear that intro music… Does anyone know where that intro is located on the soundtrack released by Digitmovies? And is there a reason of not starting the score with the music playing in the intro? I never paid attention to this, maybe it is a normal thing to do?
