For a little while I’ve been looking for the metal reel cassettes which they always used in 80s music magazine tape adverts. I havnt ordered any but I found on stereo2go a seller who had a close FB group until last week or so - now you can email the guy and order from the sheet. They are a little pricey but hand made, £15 with a discount if you order 6 or more. So here’s the sheet, some images and email to order. Absolutely love some of these and will order a box today I reckon...

They look great but that’s way too expensive for blank tapes. I’m guessing its just standard type I tape too.

@static type 1 or 2, although what type of chrome is lost in translation... I’d imagine a basic hybrid mix as pure chrome is pretty rare and pricey as a result. I have a full box of Basf pure chrome and it cost me £70

I ordered 6 of these in chrome. Some of those designs like the ‘omega’ design are trouser twitchers

Those look so cool. What are your plans for them?

@inksb I did have an idea but we’ve made a lot of headway with the BOR Halloween release so they arrived too late for this one. What I’d like to do is figure out how to stencil onto them so in future we might be able to put a limited edition out, like a basic version and a reel version. A hologram sticker maybe a good idea, open up the shell and make it so it rotates? Not sure.

@static I spoke to Claudio about the stock as well, he’s going to use RTM Fox when his stock runs out so that’s great news
