An inspired idea. Not sure I'm all in on the execution, but will give it another stream or two before deciding. Thanks for the heads up.

I ordered through Norman and didn't know what that green tape looked like, I would have ordered that instead of the scorched earth one. Look great @spun I can't wait to hear them.

New mixtape from Doug Shipton of Finders Keepers. His last one was quite awesome. I'm hoping these stick around for a week or two so I can order one.

WRWETFWW is releasing a cassette (and vinyl) of Sora's Re.Sort
Soothing cut-ups and analogue collages for dreamers in the summer breeze.

Originally released in 2003 (on CD only), conceived by Sora aka Takeshi Kurosawa. Re.sort is a miracle of Japanese electronica. Widely unknown but very necessary. Fragments and textures playfully flirt with each other, bossa nova and jazz records float in the air, an old phonograph sits by the sea. Leftfield that feels like a home away, where joyful nothings are everything. Sweet minimalism and micro melodies.

Sora means sky. Let's drift.
I had never heard of this, the sample tracks were pretty nice so I went and tracked down a digital copy of the album. It's pretty interesting. I'll probably end up grabbing the cassette. If any one wants to hear the album just let me know and I'll send it your way.

Two new albums in one limited edition butterfly type cassette pack coming SOON from us...

A two-part soundtrack to life itself. Whereas 'From Water' wraps itself around your heart, the electronic drones and burbling soundscapes of 'Ream' deliver a disquieting punch to the gut...

Back-to-back covers feature new paintings by the ever talented Eric Adrian Lee.

Nice thing about those butterfly cases is you can just take the artwork & tape out and put them in single cases. Unlike some other double style cassette cases.

I superglued two cass cases together years ago to house my dub of Slayer's Decade of Aggression live album...I don't think I've ever owned a legit butterfly case release..

I have a couple of these, Max, and I enjoy them. Nice rec.

If you were like me and didn't discover The Dark Outside until it was too late and you missed Pye Corner Audio's tape, they have 52 availble for order right now. If you already own one, you don't need to buy it again, it's exactly the same. I just placed an order for one, hopefully they are not all gone already, the last tape I tried to order I got refunded because he sold out minutes before my payment arrived.

Thanks inksb. Missed this one first time so very happy you posted this. The Spaceship cassette has to be a favourite from TDO though, but then anything he does he genius imho.

I miss so many of them. And he does that Bibliotapes label as well, I've heard the digital versions of the first two releases and love them. I just didn't have the extra money those weeks when they went up for sale. This will be my actual first TDO tape.
