Hi @mateo - the Robocop-inspired Prime Directives tape is/was by Protector 101, one of the (better) synth wave dudes... a nice little package that came with a patch and a sticker also:

https://soundcloud.com/protector-101/pr ... um-preview

http://fallowfield.bigcartel.com/produc ... izeugkiste

If I didn't follow some of these artists on Twitter I would never know about these short run cassette releases that can be gone in a day or two. They're under the radar a bit but have quite a following of their own on Bandcamp etc ;)

Protector 101 is some great music. Will have to check the new tape out.

Getting some time to organize vinyl today.

Thanks for all of the replies, gents. I allowed myself to be lured out of my home last night. I almost never go out to blow off steam after a long week and, Moses, do I remember why. I slept for eleven (11!) hours last night. Six hours is on the long side of a typical night for me. In brief, the tapes never left their shelves. Perhaps I shall take up the mantle later this weekend.

@Mateo - A worthy night, by all accounts.

Well done, OWS. Great to see all these expanded Cipriani albums being so... easy to pick up.

Decided to post this here because besides the digital files all these releases are on tape. I bought them all but have not yet received them. But because one tape is almost sold out I wanted to let you know.

Following Spun on Bandcamp lead me to the following releases. Thanks for this Spun! Really good stuff.

Besides the Wojciech Golczewski Reality Check release that Spun already posted in the new releases thread I got:

neon nights by snake of june: https://lugubriousaudio.bandcamp.com/album/neon-nights

On the same label is a split compilation release titled Siendo Pesimo. And this I find is truly epic. As I am writing this only two tapes still available here: https://stillheatrecordings.bandcamp.co ... ndo-pesimo

It is described as:
Siendo Pesimo pays homage to 1970s horror-flick soundtracks and midnight radio aficionados. The listener is cast as debauched Giallo-movie killer, as artists from both labels evoke a sonic Rome-Turin hybrid steeped in terror.

Join us for an unforgettable cocktail of black gloves, straight razors, heavy breathing down telephones, blood and beautiful soundscapes.

The tape version, mixed by the maestro Michael Philip Bridgewater, is designed to emulate the midnight radio experience. Limited to 45 copies for the world, on blood-red cassettes.
It has songs from artists from both labels. All songs I love. They have somewhat the same feel about them, but do differ enough to stand out from each other.

I bought all the 4 remaining releases of the label Still Heat Recordings: https://stillheatrecordings.bandcamp.com/merch
Tags: experimental black metal broken electronics broken vhs soundtrack dark ambient darkness drones electronica experimental industrial soundtrack Newcastle Upon Tyne

I prefer the more black metal dark ambient drones stuff to the 1980’s electronic video game bleeps and bops. Maybe some of you do as well. Or not. It doesn’t matter. It is all good. I love chocolate. And nuts.

And just now I also bought the three remaining tapes from Lugubrious Audio: https://lugubriousaudio.bandcamp.com/merch

Bandcamp is a lot of fun in finding new music for not a lot of money that include some very creative tape releases. That’s 9 beautiful new tapes for me including downloads and streaming through bandcamp app for the price of 1 double Waxwork release with shipping!
Suhweet!

I needed the second run of Street Force because I'm slightly anal.
Thank you Repeated Viewing & Spun Out Of Control.

Excellent pic! Many thanks for picking this up.

Hopefully those who missed out the first time around have snagged the 2nd run - stock is rapidly depleting. Includes download card for non cog-o-philes too.

A Western OST to a film never made. Available on limited edition cassette via Bandcamp and it's a stunner.

Glad you're enjoying it. The same guys other solo output 'Western Skies Motel' (also on Bandcamp) is also wonderful. The album is called 'Settlers' and it's really something.

Spun twitted this picture out this AM. Bez, quit your day job; you're basically famous now.
