I am happy STBC is up again. But I am curious as what is happening. Is appears that someone is using DDOS attacks...

Basically the old site forum was injected with a lot of malicious code that was sending out spam emails.

When we moved to a new site i stupidly left the old folder of images up that apparently was still injected with the crap so it continued doing the same thing and the host will shut it off, so i had to clean up some stuff.

Hopefully this time it works out.

There are still a ton of bots/fakes requesting accounts here for spam, so i currently have registration turned off until I can figure out a better way to combat it.

Thanks for this insight. I had no idea about the amount of bots or the way spam is being send out from a forum like this.

Because if it is a relatively new domain thats sort of default - and if your domain is sending alot of emails it makes it look like a spammer to the email providers. Over time this issue will ease off.
