Last weeks Spool's Out Radio show is a sublime hour of tape manipulation ambience and other noise..
This from m/cloud page..
This week's episode focuses on artists utilising tape manipulations to make the music itself - including tape loops, grainy magnetic tape decay sounds, tape montage, time-stretching, physical interjections, and live sampling.

Been enjoying this wee beauty of late... it's from 2014 but that doesn't matter...
A Course In The Theory Of Drones by Percival Pembroke
This from the b/camp page..
a comprehensive introduction to modern ambient / drone theory with an emphasis on tape degradation and memory loss, suited to complement a first-year undergraduate course
I like Percival Pembroke and this is a neat album. Good to see this thread resurrected; I'd quite forgotten it was here and I listen to loads of ambient tunes.

Giusto Pio - Motore Immobile was reissued as a new Cinedelic imprint 'Soave'
Features a crazy geological based track listing and cool DIY water delay system illustrated in the liner notes. Chill stuff

So this is the tracklisting, also only just realised there's a picture of a turtle on the cover :)

@mateo There are rips out there, I have one if you need, bit crackly though, not from my vinyl :).
if you like it also look into 'testpattern', or 'interior' on the yen label.

Will do, Dollar. Will Do. I'm familiar with Interior's s/t album. It's actually been on my want list for a while now, but the others are new to me.

@Mateo
Hope you enjoy what you find. Be aware the interior lp on yen has a different selection of songs to the one on Wyndham hill. The yen 'manifold' comp is supposed to be good also, always out of my price range though :P.

Well, good spotting that, Dollar. It looks like all the songs are different lengths and some have different names. I wonder if they are different recordings entirely. And, yes, Yen Manifold is out of my price range, too.

@Mateo
Bizarrely I got both issues in the same auction and Yes, there are a couple of songs different on each lp.

Wild. Do you have a preference?

As it stands the yen version, although I've not given the Wyndham hill version a proper listen. Also the sleeve art on the yen lp is much better.
Discogs and youtube may cover these differences.
