New here, so forgive me if there are already posts about this..
But just started (3 years ago) to collect Soundtracks / Scores on vinyl and really want to expand it.. like.. BIG-time.

So, here's the wanted-list:

- All Mondo, DeathWaltz and Waxwork Records vinyl.
- The Thing ost
- Aliens ost
- Most of the Hans Zimmer vinyl
- And, don't laugh at me I know the asking price, Inception and Dark Knight ost's

That being said, I also like any other random Movie Soundtrack or Score, anything you're trying to sell and definitely recommend! .. let me know!

Discogs is your friend. Get ready to drop some coin. I haven't seen The Maniac pop up for sale in a while. I got lucky finding a black copy before the demand blew up.

Maniac is allready in my collection, thank god (what a piece of work!) The picture disc unfortunatly.

I did. The one that got me chasing tbe soundtrack dragon.

I've been after the Thing on vinyl for some time, I've got 2 different CD versions but it was proving difficult to find a copy that wasn't a. overpriced b. in the US.

I just spent a lot of time waiting. I found one on ebay that the shipping costs were "ok" on but it still cost me $70 by the time I'd paid my import taxes :S

It seemed preferable to £70-100 which I'd seen it floating at previously.

Which led me to think of a variant of the RSD buddies thing.

Buddy up with someone in another country. Exchange a small (ish) wants list that is roughly equal in terms of value, give each other six or twelve months. You search out the records in your local country, then post them when complete.

For example I want the green vinyl 70s issue of Silent Running ST. It's not expensive but I can't seem to find a buyer that's either willing to send to the UK or wants to finger me for postage costs (more than the vinyl? don't think so!)

If you think it makes sense, I'd be happy to have you send a handful of records to my US address and then when you think the shipping cost ratio is in your favor, sending them on over to you. (and if I think of UK-centric releases I'd be happy to ask you to do the same, but I may not). there have been some decently priced Things on ebay of late, so feel free to start buying and then hit me up: john AT freshoj DOT com.

I've heard the Batman Begins soundtrack is being Re Released? Not finding any info on it and want it so bad.. Do you guys have any idea?

Soundstage direct has it up for pre-order.
