Just heard that Alan Howarth will be performing on Friday March 18 at Horror Hound Weekend in Cincinati OH. Not much other details released but should be cool.

Also Lunaris Records will be set up at the convention all weekend, if anyone will be around.

So Alan played a lot of hit themes and deep cuts from Halloween, Assault, Escape, Big Trouble etc.

He had some cool reworked movie visuals in the background for each song as well.

The coolest thing was he busted out a guitar and started shredding on some Big Trouble in Little China tracks :)

He also had a few vinyl records for sale H2 Deathwaltz etc he also had one original prince of darkness but it was $75 so more than I wanted to spend.

The concert was definitely a cool bonus that was included in the price of admission to the convention.

i didn't get anything signed, as i was being stingy with my money and didn't want to pay $50 for a record I already own.

I've never been a convention fellow, but I must say seeing Howarth perform would probably entice me to go. Glad it was a good show.
