@reddye6 - what did you think of Simonetti's
Demoni live score? I caught the show here last night. They had some video problems setting up, but got it sorted and proceeded to rock the venue. The main theme was sounding quite good to my ears. The sold-out crowd was into the screening with many first-time viewers in attendance. I thought it was great that they performed all the rock/metal tracks with the original vocals mixed up. I was quite well done and I thought better than just trying to mix in the original tracks. Overall, it was a great show and the mini-concert at the end was fun as well. I especially enjoyed the
Cut and Run opener -- was not expecting that one! It was cool to hear
Opera performed live. I am not sure I have heard that one live before. It was a classic Goblin/Simonetti set list for the most part, but the heavy/rock versions of Halloween/Exorcist were perfect for the season. I was hoping to hear
Phenomena and was again not disappointed as they tore it up. The man never disappoints on the keys. They are playing another sold-out show again tonight here in Portland.
