@ bansel
How's the acriplat with the MH mff-2.2? Thinkning of buying one myself. Is it worth it?

Finally took a photo, now I can join in....

This is the upstairs system, which is a shame because since moving I have had to put it in the bedroom/loft area. Can't wait to buy a house again to have a dedicated room! System is a collection of estate sale and craiglist finds. Budgets.

how do you get records to stay on your deck ? Do you use a clamp ;)

ha, that reminds me of Empire turntables' claims that their tonearms worked upside down due to such perfect balance (if my hazy memory can be trusted)

Agreed on the NAD deck. I am rocking a 614 in my office.

Just added a Clearaudio Concept to our home set up.
This was originally for the store but quite frankly it's blown my socks off. Have some Spendor BC1 speakers being delivered tomorrow. Very excited about that.

That Clearaudio looks great -- Spencer - have you spun anything at 78 yet - and if so, how did it sound?

I'm right there with you on that.

My last hi-fi purchase was to swap out my SME 3009 arm for a more modern set-it-and-forget-it type jobby. I'm now eyeing my one remaining vintage tonearm (a Mission 774) with the same idea as it occasionally shorts out and needs some jiggering. ugh.

Luckily my Thorens 124 tables continue to be reliable workhorses - it will be a sad day if I ever swap those out.

The Concept is pretty cracking I have to admit.
I love my michell but it can be a bit tricksy sometimes...

@Spencer, You're gonna love it. I love my VPI 16.5. It has saved a few records from the bin. sounds like a fair price for a good cleaning.

I have a Record Doctor V.

I think I will upgrade to one that cleans also later in the year.

I was wondering which RCM you would end up with. Are there any issues with getting fluid on the labels?
Do the large hole 7"s fit the platter?
A review of the Okki Nokki would be great, I am considering getting either that one or a Consonance.

@static, the picture does not do it justice, it is a beauty! Now I just need to decide, do I go ahead and put it on the arm or wait till the Clearaudio needs to back to SoundSmith. It (Clearaudio) still sounds terrific. I will say of the 2 the Blackbird looks sexier on the arm. :)

decisions! decisions!
