So I don't do a lot of sales/buying from outside the US because of some bad experiences in the past. I purchased a record on discogs from Portugal (to the US) and been watching the tracking and saw this message:


Tracking: RT104693305PT

"Item wrongly directed, Item forwarded/redirected"

I don't wanna bother the seller yet because I know there's really nothing more they know at the moment, but does anyone else have any experience with this kind of tracking notice and what it might mean? I know overseas tracking takes forever and I'm patient, just curious.

I've never ordered from Portugal so my experience with their tracking system is non existent. I'm surprised that the tracking even works, the last two records I ordered from Germany and France both showed that the record hadn't even been scanned into their system, just said post office was made aware of package. Then 4-6 weeks later with no updates the packages arrived.

Hopefully it sorts it self out. I would wait a week or two at least before contacting the seller to see what the tracking updates with
