I am surprised Only Lovers Left Alive is that much, they pressed quite a few.

I don't know why that pressing got so pricey either, but, if memory serves, it happened quick. I remember seeing prices soar pretty early on.

VJ, you have an OG Blue Note Out To Lunch? That's about as cool as it gets.

Yeah, I came across a pretty beat up copy years ago that I got fairly cheaply (the cover is probably G+) but the record is VG+ and it sings!!! If I had unlimited expendable income collecting OG Blue Notes would be number one aim!

I mean it's a pretty cool illustration but not really gonna go grab customers other than people already interested in that small movie and relatively unknown composer. Actually, I bought it because it was on Deathwaltz. I wouldn't have known about it otherwise, pretty sure.

Top records by median, which I've put on discogs. Predictably a bunch of Japanese and libary records.
Have to say these prices can be really misleading for example the box set at the top of my list is not worth anything near that much.
I really try not to think about how much this or that record is worth.

I don't have my collection on DC, but off the top of my head based on last time I saw prices for them and in the condition that I have them, I'd guess that these would be some of be mine:

ANDROMEDA STRAIN (Kapp 10" Hexagonal)
EVIL DEAD (Varese)
NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET (Varese)
KLUTE (WB/Unofficial)
COUPE DE VILLES LP
CHRYSTA BELL - THIS TRAIN
ONLY LOVERS LEFT ALIVE

I think on the whole, the Carpenter originals wing of my collection is pretty tasty and I wouldn't like to have to replace it!

@ink, you can make Folders so I have a different folder for each category/format so I can seperate my CDs from LPs.

Not sure about everyone else but I "search collection" to sort it. And if you use the app, it allows you to filter by genre & format.

I'm sure it's quite useful n all, but on the plus side you don't get random pleas to sell lps from your collection that you don't have listed for sale.

Wow, this was a really surprising exercise.
I ended up having to filter down to just “stage and screen.” I have a lot of OG UK Beatles and Kinks that just wrecked the max lists (plus I have a lot of 80s-90s punk/alternative and some of that stuff is starting to sell for bonkers money now).
