Labels teasing releases

Why do labels tease future releases and then you never hear anything about them again? WW has done this during live stream vids and DW seems to do it a lot on obi’s.
Well I would assume there's a few factors but the major one is probably the deal goes sideways. They probably shouldn't tease until the inks dry on the contract but some of them are just like us and get super excited about something and can't wait to share it. Other times it's probably production issues from bad masters to pressing issues to art approval issues.
Some of it is crazy though, Spencer is notorious for teasing something and having years go by before we hear about it again.
Are there ones that are particularly bothering you right now? I know for me Sette Note in Nero was one I heard about for a long time, then it was teased on an obi strip last year I think? or maybe earlier this year? It felt like forever
