Any details on the tracks?
https://recordstoreday.co.uk/releases/r ... l-elkind/

The 7" AA Side, March from A Clockwork Orange (1971), is an arrangement of Beethoven' s rousing Symphony No. 9 in D Minor (fourth movement) and is the first recorded song using a vocoder. Almost ten years later, Carlos was to work with Kubrick again on The Shining (1980). Although Kubrick didn' t use much of the music she composed, sticking instead to the guide tracks for the final cut, the disturbing main theme is by Carlos and her collaborator and friend Rachel Elkind. The Shining - Main Theme on the 7" A side takes as its starting point the Dies Irae from Hector Berlioz' s Requiem (Op5), appropriately taken to new levels of darkness by Carlos and Elkind' s electronic treatment.

They're doing LE PARC, and it's listed as a 2LP, so that's interesting, it always ever was a single LP before. 45rpm ? additional tracks ? might be interested. They're also releasing TD's Machu Picchu, which was only released in 2012 on CD. Never heard it, it's an hommage to John Peel according to the rsd website blurb. I'm definitely picking up any TD I don't already own. and Le Parc depending on why it's a 2LP ( I already have a single LP edition)
I also saw Poland on the list. I plan on getting that and Machu.

That TP art can’t be real....it just can’t be...

I thought the CD version wasn’t great either, but man, this is soooo much worse.

I have to get this, because I love the music that will be on this release, but that cover art is a tough pill to swallow.

This is probably the best list in years (for me, personally), there were immediately 5 or 6 'must haves' (I might be to rethink that, budget-wise). Halt & Catch Fire 2 and Twin Peaks 2 are at the top of my list though.

I might give some thought to which labels tend to reissue a 'standard' version after RSD, prioritise those that are likely to be exclusives (not just exclusive variants) and those most likely to sell out.

I'm with Chief on how good tis years list is, at least for my tastes. Unfortunately for me it was a rollercoaster of emotions when i saw one of my most desired on vinyl soundtracks was getting pressed (south park: bigger longer) only to see on bull moose it's $72!!!! I know what Brian Boitano'd do if he was here right now...he's say "screw this" and listen on spotify. and before i get booted for liking something so pedestrian, i'm in on TP and goblin and the shining and probalby d'onagio and who knows what else :-)

i'm curious if the Creepozoids is RSD only or subbers will still get it?

A lot of 90s V/A soundtracks in this bunch for those who are into them, i may have to upgrade my new jack city and maybe office space.
i may even be forced to buy the prince cassette.
yep...gonna be an expensive year, assuming i can get what i want.

Ditto.

Seconded.

My updated OST want list:

The Stone Tape 10"
Halt and Catch Fire S2 (I may well wait for the standard release of this)
Twin Peaks S2 (ditto, might wait and see if someone else releases...)
Ghost World
Kubrick 7"
Jean Claude Vannier 7"
Daughters of Darkness 7" (facsimile of OG Barclay release...)
Goblin 7"
Manchurian Candidate
Multiplication Rock

And there's some nn-OST bits I'll maybe look at - though it seems like the Tangerine Dream 'Le Parc' is just a straight reissue across two discs.

That Twin Peaks artwork is something...

I am interested in Deadly Avenger but I don't think I'll be able to get it as I know none of my local shops will order and I'll be at the whim of the aftermarket price which I won't over pay for.

More TD is always welcome.

Is this the first time they are releasing Lost in Translation on vinyl?

Oh damn.

The edition of the book coming in May with the full Prom Night re-issue has my full interest! But fuuck, I want that 7" too!

I may need to call upon a good US buddy for this, if it's not something I can order through Amazon.com etc....

Twin Peaks season two
Francois de roubaix

AARON LUPTON AND JEFF SPZIRGLAS
Blood On Black Wax
Book+7'', Signed Hardbound 240pg Coffee Table Book + Red-Colored 7'' for the 1980 horror film Prom Night

The Crow

LOST IN FUCKING TRANSLATION

Goblin Yell

Ghost World
Disco God father.
Chad mentioned it previously. I would like both rekkids but realistically should only spring for the full LP edition, assuming those same tracks will be on there. Hopefully more details will pop up before RSD.

One that I don't believe has been mentioned here though is Knight Rider - Stu Phillips

Also spotted this

ENNIO MORRICONE: L'ANTICRISTO 7"

ah yeah thanks bub, I passed over too quick on the thread, missed Chad's mention of the book. From what I understand, the 7'' are just track from the full LP, so I'll probably just get the edition with the full LP. Oh and good spotting on 'L'ANTICRISTO''. I'm interested in that if I can find it. Looking at the catalog number, looks like it's a dagored release. should be relatively easy to track down.

I spotted Knight Rider earlier. I think that right now, I'm interested in these 11 titles:

Ask your local shop to order it in. UK via State51 and USA via Light in the attic. It’s our biggest pressing yet, so enough to go around. Obviously we have no control on shop prices but our dealer price is exactly the same as any other release.
