Today was record cleaning day so I spun some records I haven't listened to in ages while I cleaned a bunch of recent arrivals.

Kings Blood. Noisy distorted guitar driven instrumentals. Bought it on recommendation almost 10 years ago. Good shit if you are into that kind of music.

$1.50 add on to a Discogs order. This one was filthy and needed a serious cleaning.

@static, you make me jealous and simultaneously want to spend £150 on a single record for the first time!

@chief yeah the one steps are pricey, but the two I have sound amazing. Not gonna be buying lots of them though. :)

I thought the first single for that album was terrible and I avoided it. Is that single on par with the rest of the album? I think it was called Unventful Days.

@inksb the album is pretty laid back, but that is definitely not the strongest song for sure.

This has been off-rotation for quite a while. One of those albums that the longer you haven't heard it your opinion changes (in this case for the worse), but rediscovering now that I like it a lot. Not cutting edge stuff, but definitely a different record for Springsteen, and arguably better than the last couple of records with the band.
