This sounds orders of magnitude better than the first and second pressings I had.. I promptly sold the originals. I used to think they sounded decent -- not even close!! And my equipment is middling at best...I bet this absolutely *screams* on a proper setup.

This was my first One Step from Mofi. Both this and Blood on The Tracks kick even the standard Mofi versions in the teeth.

This is the album I‘d use to demonstrate just how damn fine records can sound.

I saw that Marvin Gaye LP for sale at a local shop a few weeks ago and pretty much just drooled over it as I can't justify the price on that. I would love to listen to one.

Anita Mui - 赤色梅艷芳 (Red)


I've been after Anita's first 6-7 albums for the better part of a year. I found two about 6 months ago at a good price but they were picked up before I could buy them. Most of the time they are priced $35-$50, in varying conditions. I scored Red for $5 due to the jacket being in pretty rough shape, bad ring wear, sticker residue and some bad wear on the back. She was one of Hong Kongs biggest pop stars of the 80's and 90's, as well as an actress. She starred opposite Jackie Chan in Drunken Master 2, Miracles: The Canton Godfather, Rumble in the Bronx and was in A Better Tomorrow 3.

This place is buzzing tonight...love it. Must be the change of season. We all sat at home sipping whiskey and spinning sides?

I got this yesterday. It's mental, and fabulous, and I love both of these artists. The sleeve (with chroma-foil embossing) is the best I've seen this year.

this has been on my want list for a while, not a huge Van Halen fan, I ony have a few, but I really enjoy this one and happy to have it in the collection

This album is amazing. Highly recommed you guys pick up a copy if you haven't already. If you are interested in hearing the album before purchasing shoot me a DM and I'll share a digital copy. It's quite different than their debut LP but it's a beautiful and layered piece that I think a lot of folks around here will enjoy. It may have my favorite LP artwork of the year.

Being a big Dylan fan I finally caved

How does it sound @evan? I've been eyeing that I've since it was announced. I have the 33rpm MSFL and the Columbia MasterSound pressing. Debating if the single step is worth the price.

@ 334578rpm It sounds wonderful! Pretty sure that at this point in humankind, this is the best edition. If you love this album ( and I am assuming you do, being you own several versions) pick it up. You will not be disappointed. For me one of the biggest enhancements is how quiet the noise floor is. Like dead quiet. It makes the overall presentation of the music come to life. Now to balance it out.... I will only be buying these one steps extremely selectively.
