How is this TD release?

I liked it. It’s the first performance of Ricochet, so musically yo can guess what it sounds like. It isn’t the best live recording, but it is definitely listenable and enjoyable (I had seen some complaints online about the quality).

I feel like the last few TD and TD adjacent releases for RSD all have some form of issue lately.

Coheed & Cambria - Vaxis II: A Window of the Waking Mind

I'm a huge Coheed fan, have been since their first album. This album I have been waiting to hear for over a year. The first single was last July. They wanted the digital to release at same time as physicals and due to vinyl being a shit show we had to wait until now. I love the album, it is much more pop oriented than the last one, less prog but it still comes out in a few songs. It's actually a very fun listen. Unfortunately the pressing is dog shit, there's so much noise on sides B, C & D. I ran it through the ultra sonic cleaner yesterday and it helped but every quiet part is full of noise. I did a double pass this morning and I'll give it another go this evening to see if that helped. A bit of a bummer for a record I've been waiting on for ages

Both of these sound excellent.

Timeless album - the Live from the BBQ joint with Nas is incredible of course. Nas dropping the "when I was 12 I went to hell for snuffing jesus" line is just too cold STILL. Looking at the Front Door, Just Hanging Out, Just a Friendly Game of Baseball so many cuts on this gem.

Klaus Schulze - Deus Arrakis

This arrived yesterday and I was every excited to listen. I really love side A of Dune, we all know that side B is less great due to the weird choice of vocals. I got through a little over half of this last night and I gotta say it's really fantastic so far. Beautiful package. I think this is his last album before passing.
