RZA as Bobby Digital - Digital Bullet

One of a few RSD releases I really wanted, I stopped into my local shop yesterday and they luckily still had stock. This one had a pressing back in 2001 but it's hard to come by. I was very happy to see Get On Down reissued it, I'm assuming they will do standard pressing on their site in the future. Now if only I can get my hands on a copy of the upcoming VMP reissue of RZA as Bobby Digital In Stereo but my hopes are not high on that one.

The first LP plays perfectly and sounds great, unfortunately the second LP was pressed off center and has some residue (feels like a plastic bur) in the groove at the start of track 1 on Side C that knocks your needle to the next groove.

This is such a fucking treat to own. It's probably my favorite DOOM record and I missed the last repress back in '18 or '19, prices for that pressing have been through the roof (even prior to his death). Really happy that Get On Down repressed it.

My ex walked off with this many many years ago, finally replaced with an Ex+ 1st pressing snagged on rare trip out to the wilds. Has saved me from taking a punt with the new reissue.

RZA As Bobby Digital In Stereo

I hate that I had to sign up for VMP to get this but it's the first repress since '98 and it's my favorite RZA album. OG copies are absurd and it had to be done. Surprsingly it's a great pressing on my first listen and they did a great job with the art. Very happy to have it.




Burial Grid - Shores of Quiddity

This is easily Burial Grid's best album. I highly recommend any one into the synth focused albums to give this a spin and pick it up for the low low price of $22 on his bandcamp.
