This is a terrific record. Get the Strut 3LP. The mono mix remastered fom 2" tape is very well done. These were pressed at Pallas.

First night off from work in 35 days and it hasn't been easy around this place lately. Hope all of you are safe and well out there.

KMFDM do have some great music to accompany the times we are living in at the moment...

That's the truth Bez. I've been through some stuff living in Atlanta, New Orleans, and especially Detroit but nothing like this here in the Twin Cities. Most of the area is boarded up at this point. Be safe out there.

Denzel Curry - Taboo

One of my favorite hip hop albums of 2018. Denzel is one of the best at the moment, he bridges old and new, isn't afraid to be funny and uses nerdy references with out sounding corny.

Denzel Curry - Zuu
Released in 2019. Ended up being one of my favorite hip hop releases of last year, while not quite as good overall as Taboo, it's still an excellent album.

Amazon was having a buy 2 get 1 free deal recently on certain records. I ordered some more hip hop albums I've been putting off over the last year or so. This was the first to arrive.

Dreamville - Revenge of the Dreamers III

Dreamville Records was started by J. Cole, he has been signing artists over the last decade, many of which I really enjoy. Earthgang & JID are my two favorites and Ari Lennox & Bas are two others I really like. This album is the culmination of a 10 day recording session with supposedly over 300 artists and producers coming to the studio. There's a ton of great features and overall is a great album.

Nice @jimmy, how's the pressing quality on that? I pre-ordered it through Amazon bc it doesn't charge me until it ships and I was being cheap. I should get it in a few weeks.

Wabi Sabi came today. I am enjoying the more diverse instrumentation especially the great use of strings and flute. There is more space in the arrangements, and it's a much more melodic and jazzy album. Tracks like "Hanami" and "Komorebi" are my favorites and elevate the record. I could go for a whole album of just that stuff and without the harder driven Asian beats.
