Oh No - Good Vibes & Bad Vibes

Oh No samples early Roy Ayers catalog with great success. A two part album, Good Vibes on the kidney more playful side, Bad Vibes darker and more melancholic. It's a great release and highly recommended checking out, it's on all DSP's

Sadhugold - Golden Joe Vol 2 & 3

These records were released months apart yet I got them the same day. The package including Oh No and Golden Joe 2 went the scenic route from Florida to a 3 week vacation in Anchorage Alaska, then spent two weeks in Seattle before making a two week trek across the country making numerous stops along the way to NY.

Happy to finally have them, if you're into dirty, dusty, boom bap style beats give these a listen

SadhuGold - The Ballad of DB Looper

Sadhu rapping on this one. I dig it a lot but know it's not for everyone

Conway - The Machine Bitch!

Collection of loosies mostly from 2019-20. Has my favorite Conway tracks, Laundromat Rap featuring Mach-Hommy. Was supposed to be on GOAT but got removed for unknown reasons.

Vega7 the Ronin & Superior - Sleep is the Cousin

This album has slowly been creeping up my list of favorite albums of the year. Vega 7 impressed the hell out me last year with his debut and this one his writing is even stronger. @cult I highly recommend you check the album out, I think you'd appreciate it. Superior has done production with Estee Nack, Eto and Stove God.

Love the artwork too

Glad you posted this, had no idea they had a new album. Listening now on Bandcamp. Looks like a US label released it so it's not crazy expensive

Yeah, it's being sold by Echodelick in the US, We Here & Now in Canada, and Worst Bassist Records in Europe. It's limited to something like 200-250, so jump on it if you're interested.

Also, for US folks, Little Cloud Records is carrying Ivan the Tolerable's "Black Water/Brown Earth" LP: https://littlecloudrecords.com/collecti ... rown-earth

That's pretty cool for ST to be your first concert. I'm sure that was quite the experience.

My first concert experience was very memorable. It was a hip hop show at the legendary CBGBs venue right before it closed for the final time. Non Phixion headlined with Immortal Technique and Jedi Mind Tricks opening and hyping up NP while they preformed. This was in 2006 I was kind of late popping my concert cherry (i was 19 yrs old), but was a great first concert. They sold out the first show and did a second show with a different set directly after that didn't end till at least 2AM.

Excellent! I never got to go to CBGBs; I wish I had.

Before ST, I hadn't been to a concert. A week after ST, I got to see The Clash in Philly (1984). Mick Jones was gone by then, but it was still thrilling to see them.

Kool Keith - Sex Style

Just bagged +2 tickets to see Kool Keith. So seems right to bust out one of his albums. Last time I saw KK he was throwing out ziplock bags with chicken wings to the crowd to snack on during his set. When it comes to Kool Keith everyone usually jumps on the Dr. Octagon, but Sex Style is my favorite albums of his.

I love Sex Styles! Don't own it though... I have only three Kool Keith releases on vinyl I bought in the beginning of the 2000s.
