These two arrived today

On the left is Spook & Sadhugold - No Country for Hoe...
A short but very solid project from them. I love Sadhu's production and they threw a bonus track at the end which might be the best on the whole EP

Record on the right is Blu & Oh No - A Long Red Hot Los Angeles Summer Night. A really great project from a few years ago. If you like Blu & Exile records this one should fall right in with them.

I hope you find something you dig. All of his stuff is on youtube. He's is a little different so I hope you don't trun it off after 5 seconds lol. Dude is seriously skilled. Lyrics top knotch - beats are phenomenal - and the whole swag is just dope af imo.

Guys like YOD - Westside Gunn - Roc Marci - Billy Woods - Stove God etc. are mainly what I've been bumping and Spark fits perfectly in with all them as a standout mc. No Ghostwriters No Ghostproducers Just God's.

I checked out his new tape and was impressed. His beats dip into trap stylings at times (in particular the hi hats) but his rapping is pretty far from it. It was an interesting listen for sure and I'll definitely check out more from him.

On the topic of Billy Woods. I just picked up Steel Tipped Dove album from Backwoodz and it's like a mini Woods EP. He's on a majority of the tracks and the other mc's are also great, I'm a big fan of Fatboi Sharif, Elucid is on a track and Pink Siifu as well. Highly recommend checking it out if you haven't heard it, should be on DSP's and if it isn't then it's on Steel Tipped Dove's bandcamp.
