This may be of interest to a few around here, Tatsuro Yamashita's catalog is finally being reissued on vinyl so no more absurd prices. Looks like they are starting in May and continuing through the summer. I may end up grabbing Spacey and Circus Town. Possibly Moonglow too.
I'm a big fan of Fife's work so really looking forward to this release. I know a bunch of around here will enjoy it

Haruomi Hosono - N.D.E.
This just went up for pre-order at a few places (LITA, Rough Trade, etc) seems like Dusty Groove has it for the cheapest state side. First time on vinyl
This is Hosono experimenting with 90's electronic music stylings, you get some house style tracks in here. Overall it's really good and recommended if you're a fan of his and electronic music.

New D.A.L.I. album just dropped from u-Super records (Burning Tapes new label)
I was a big fan of their last release on BWR. I will likely grab this if it hits stateside for less than $40 but I just don't feel like spending $55 on a single LP so I'll be skipping direct from the label unfortunately.

I'm sure people who care about this already know but figured I'd still post it just in case
Prince - Diamonds & Pearls
Remastered and Reissued
I opted for the 4LP set as I want those two extra discs. I absolutely love this album and have been impatiently waiting for a reissue, OG copies are a bit out of my price range.

The new album from Italian duo Dressel Amorosi, comprising Federico Amorosi and Valerio Lombardozzi, is a fervent homage to the realm of Italian soundtracks and library music from the late '70s and early '80s. Navigating effortlessly through a spectrum of scenarios and atmospheres, it conjures up vivid images of action-packed sequences, wistful retro vibes, chic party scenes, and hair-raising horror chills.
With a refined, contemporary flair, Spectrum celebrates early '80s cinema and its unmistakable aesthetics, steering clear of any trace of nostalgia. It weaves together elements of synth-pop, jazz-prog, electric fusion, and chill-funk across its seven compelling tracks, reimagining the past through a contemporary lens.
Compared to their previous, strictly horror-themed album, here Dressel Amorosi broaden their musical and cinematic palette, adding ingredients from the giallo, sexy thriller, comedy, and crime genres.
