Hey ScoJo, They are expensive for sure to the UK. HHV are a little cheaper (and have the very limited clear version of 250 for Europe), otherwise it's Juno records, which are still pretty pricey, they also put horrible stickers on the album covers and their packaging is pretty naff.

Ooh wow! Will definitely be picking this up one way or another.

Anybody know if there is an offical reissue for the Japanese market? Or are these international.

I would assume a Japanese pressing will also happen with in the next year or two and at a higher price. I'm basing this assumption on their Hosono reissues, which most of them received Japanese pressings at a later point. Pure speculation on my end though

I did find this interesting tid-bit at the end of the item description on LITA's website
Additionally, this release is the first in our ongoing series, WATER COPY, focusing on the works of Hiroshi Yoshimura.
That's exciting as I'd love to see more. And maybe a repress of Pier & Loft?

I rarely show much interest in new music that's unknown to me, but this El Michels Affair sample track.... damn!!

This looks interesting in terms of packaging and concept - Soulwax messing about with an EMS Synthi (and ScoJo, they have taken your patch bay design idea, here, but not executed it half as well).

A bit pricey perhaps, though you do get a booklet with it on the synth's history.

Mitch Murder - Selections 4LP Set

€89.00 plus a very reasonable €7.00 shipping to the US. Total was about 105+/- to the US. A little pricy but I love Mitch Murder.

Sven Wunder's Wabi Sabi hit streaming today. I'll be perfectly honest, I think his first album is much better.

I actually haven't played either of them. Kinda of bummed they are releasing two at once, not sure if I can afford that this weekend. So I may be waiting until the retail versions hit stateside. The samples on Data Discs site sound pretty good though.

Can't tell you how thrilled I am that this is finally getting a vinyl release, as was intended back in 1974 but sadly got shelved by Reprise/lost to the archives.

Jack Nitzsche S/T solo lp, a collaboration with Robert Downey Sr., beautiful music and songs that were locked in a vault for decades until Rhino included the tracks on their Three Piece Suite CD.

As well as being rich with his trademark writing and orchestral arrangements, Nitzsche takes up vocal duties - he has a somewhat world weary yet laconic, LA troubador delivery.

Out via LITA etc on Mapache/Hanky Panky, in stores now.

Wanted to let folks know about this Kevin Richard Martin (aka The Bug) "Return to Solaris." It's a reimagining of the Solaris soundtrack. It's 2 LPs but there is also a limited-to-100 bundle that includes a cassette of additional music.

Hope it's better than the last one which I found incredibly boring.

It really bugs me that Daniel get's all these physical releases, meanwhile Cody is over there releasing 1-2 crazy prog vgm inspired albums every year and doesn't get any physical releases.

Some nice big Japanese reissues just announced and put up for sale. As usual these run about $50 for a single LP and can probably be bought from CDJapan for a little cheaper.

Casiopea - Casiopea

Casiopea - Mint Jams
https://lightintheattic.net/releases/7852-mint-jams

Harry & Mac - Road to Louisianna
https://lightintheattic.net/releases/78 ... -louisiana

Looks like for July RSD there will be a bunch of Hosono reissues as well including Paradise View (love this one), SFX, The Endless Talking and Mercuric Dance. Not sure if these will be easy to get in the US but they are showing up on LITA's website.
