I saw this article on Vinyl Factory today for BWANA's remix of the Akira soundtrack and its now getting a white label vinyl release. Don't know much about techno, or anything about BWANA but I love AKIRA so much, so i had to get it.

turns out to be some really great stuff, which i can describe with the word "chill". check it out.

Interesting project. I am not familiar with Bwana at all, but I'm reading that he is from Australia. The tracks sound pretty good; an interesting mix of ambient and dancefloor-oriented 4/4 techno sounds. I really dig that they are using the original manga artwork for the project/LP. I treasure Otomo-sama's artwork and books like few other things in my life.
