@deaf, awesome stuff!

The killer with these Japanese releases, particularly the anime stuff, is when you realise having the obi and insert is not enough, you also need the limited extra large poster.

@Dollarhyde - Thanks, are those anime posters included with the LP? I agree it's fun to have the complete package. Some examples:

ImageSuspiria - pop-up internal LP sleeve.

Image Alien - large fold-out poster.

ImageMyself in forty years.

@deaf, Yeah I read somewhere that many lps on the first press would come with the obi, insert plus a large, often double sided, around A2 poster. To put it simpler not all copies apparently came with one. And obviously many would have been used and lost. I have a few.

But @deaf that alien poster though!! Did that come with Japanese lp press.

Very jealous of that golden dog Lp, that one doesn't seem to turn up often. there are a few yuji records that seem very scarce on the ground.

@ScoJo - Abner The Crass event exclusive from GnomeCon '84.

@Dollarhyde - The 20th Century Fox pressing has the poster. The Casablanca version does not. I will let you know if I am able to capture another Golden Dog. They go quick!

@deaf, please hit me up if you do, I'm good for the money, within reason.
'love saves the earth' by 'you and the explosion band' is the other yuji gem to look out for.

Here's an example of the some of the posters that came with Japanese lps. I think all the ones I have a from the king label, not seen any on nippon columbia.

@Dollarhyde - Oh man, my copy of Black Magic M-66 is missing the poster. It never ends! :)

The Alien LP is also manufactured by King Records with the same size poster.

Much better that that upbeat, jazz band 'Night of the Jiving Dead'.

Sorry.

probably an early 80's pittsburgh porno.

Wow, I would love to hear the story behind this found box. I wonder if they were put in storage due to this note: "May be slight warpage which could require collector to flatten. Sold as is."
