My family just relocated to VA from MA and I was hoping to find some local board members who could point me to some record stores worth checking out. Looking for places with great score/soundtrack sections, both new and used stuff.
I'm currently in Ashburn and we'll likely wind up buying a home somewehere around here in the next few months. Thanks in advance!

If you make it down to Richmond, there are plenty of local stores to visit.
Plan 9 - Since 1981. Not what it used to be by any means, as they relocated to a smaller location a few years ago, but still a great place to shop, and still the biggest game in town.
Deep Groove - The owner, Jay, super nice guy, used to be GM of Plan 9 for many years, opened his own store 6 years ago or so. Great place, always worth checking out.
Steady Sounds - Just celebrated 5 years this week. Very cool place, always interesting stuff going through the bins.
There are some others, but those are the ones worth checking out if you're here for a day.

Thanks @Dumaisaudio! It's a bit of a long haul but it sounds like it'd be worth it every once and a while.
