That bloody halloween 7" from halloweenmovies.com. Overpriced, no picure sleeve despite appearances to the contrary and they ship it in an envelope with no stiffeners. Mine was significantly warped.

That 7" release was one of the crappiest things I've ever seen. God...

I went through paypal to get my money back. They didn't respond to any of it...

I got my money back so I'm good. But I wrote a lovely screed in the paypal dispute and I was hoping they would try to defend themselves somehow so I could write another one and really go to town.

I wonder if the Martyrs / Red Night ost that was supposed to get released would hae been a good pressing. seeing that the label who was kickstarting it never completed their project even though it was financed, makes me believe it would have been a sketchy release.

There is a topic on here called 'the french connection' where the french speaking forum cats meet.

You should ask for info there, maybe they know more or can help you out.
It's a longshot but worth the try.

I was thinking of contacting the label and trying to take over the project...but I fear I'll get mixed up in something scetchy.

Yeah it's the french label, Seventeen Records. the fundraising ended june 2012 and I exchanged a few email with the guy and he always said the project's release date was pushed back. there hasn't been any news on the fundraising page for a year, the guy hasn't posted anything on facebook since february. I doubt there's anything to do really. in may 2013 he said to me that they were relaunching the project elsewhere because the principal backer of the fundraising backed out and they were left with 20% of the amount required for the production.
