Presuming that rules is rules wherever they may be, Record Store Day continues for the next week instore only until the internet gets a go at midnight Friday/Saturday.
To help everyone get everything they want at a price as close to vaguely reasonable as possible (not do-able in all cases - are the Rolling Stones really that skint nowadays?), here's as good a place as any to list stores who publicise what stock they have remaining instore and, later in the week, who'll be selling what online. Also labels will start shifting their own stock too, heads-ups on these also welcome.

As a start, Piccadilly Records in Manchester UK have been kind enough to list their instore remainders this morning - T2's still there, as are the DW releases and other supposed mega-rarities. They also have a lot of Pixies albums going off their photos on Friday. Link here.


Label-wise, Sunyata Records have opened their availability of the Screaming Trees' "Last Words" swansong to non-US customers (it was RSD in the UK only) - ltd to 1000, translucent red vinyl, and as it's Barrett Martin's own label the CN22 will probably carry the Screaming Trees' drummer's signature too

I managed to get the last of my RSD wants (the William Onyeabor remix 2x12") from Piccadilly at 00:01 this morning. Glad I did as I see it's sold out now. Also grabbed the Rodion 12" too, although I'm not sure that'll sell too fast. Missed out on the Holger Czukay re-edit LP, didn't check out fast enough on it and it was gone by the time I clicked through - shouldn't have thought about it for the minute or so that I did!

It sure is fastest fingers first...

I picked up everything I wanted except for Teeth of the Sea/Field in England...snaffled all 4 of the recent Death Waltz RSD releases (previously I've totally missed out on the RSD events), one of the T2 7" and Lynch's The Air is on Fire vinyl (will go nicely with my Lynch/Cartier book/cd of the same name). I did it all through Piccadilly Records.

I did it so fast, that even my debit card said WTF?
Gotta stand back after all that...I really went to town yesterday and my bank account will need counselling!

Thanks for the info liftman...I am trying to pretend that I haven't noticed the one at Banquet...I wonder if that will work? Might well grab it another time...these wounds need dressing and nursing.
