I'm thinking of purchasing a Pro-Ject Flatten It. I have a stack of albums expensive enough that repurchasing them would roughly be the same value as the Flatten It.

Would anyone be interested in (if I buy it, and it works well) having me fix their warped albums for a small fee. Like legit small, maybe $5 an album (you cover the return shipping as well) for a few hours worth or work?

Just wanted to see. It would ever so slightly ease the $$$ pain on my end and you could also reap the rewards!

I only have one record currently that could use a seriously attempt at flattening it but if I get others in the future I'd be interested in sending a few all at once

Yeah that would probably be the best way to do it. Just send over a stack and have them all done in one outing.

I probably have 10 or so that I could send. That's an expensive piece of equipment; I looked it up and it's about a grand. I'd think black vinyl would be the easiest to flatten and solid-colored ones might be more difficult. Probably goes without saying a picture disc wouldn't even be worth the trouble. I'm in to send some if you purchase it.

Thanks Static.
