Excellent spin @tim, I'm hoping they reissue that as prices are way too high. I have been listening to a ton of Prince this week and discovered the Madhouse albums. Never knew about them and enjoying them quite a bit.

Bumping Mailbu Ken. The Acid King track where he explains the Ricky Kasso murders is frigging incredible.

That Malibu Ken album is fun. I thought Aesop Rock quite a bit. I used to listen to BazookaTooth & Labor Days a lot.


I did a bunch of book reorganizing today so I was able to spin a few things.

Akai Solo - Spirit Roaming

Akai's debut for Backwoodz Studioz and it's probably his best. Unfortunately it's a little too long for a single LP and they crammed too much on here. Side A barely has a runout, it's the smallest I've ever seen and the record is quiet.

Grateful Dead - 5/7/77 Boston

I'm a huge Dead fan, been one since I was 7 years old and discovered some tapes my dad had. I don't own much on vinyl though bc listening to a live show spread across 5-6 discs isn't that appealing to me. Well I was at my local shop trading in some stuff that hasn't been selling on discogs and saw this set in the pile of stuff going out this week. I've always been a fan of this show, I'm one of the few that thinks it's better than the famed 5/8/77 Cornell show so this was a must grab for me. With my trade in I got it for $65 which is half off. It sounds fantastic.
