Love Bowie, really like his 90ties output, probably as that was the time I got acquainted with his music (Outside was the first album I bought by Bowie, so that has a very special place in my heart).

I made Outside possible by just spending stupid money on an older one I found at a shop (reissue from 2015 I think) and then discovering these were coming like an hour later. So you’re all welcome.

Finally picked up this classic, retiring my beat up CD. I picked up the fixed MOV pressing that actually has Soul Controller on it instead of just listing it on the jacket and center labels. It's one of my favorite hip hop albums and the pressing sounds fantastic as expected from MOV

Willi Carlisle - Peculiar, Missouri

If you're a fan of folk/country/stringband music and have an appreciation for John Prine and John Hartford, do your self a favor and listen to this album. It's one of favorites this year. Beautiful songwriting on display with lights of variety.

Danger Mouse and MF DOOMs collaborative adult swim centric album. Lots of dope cuts on here - Space Ho's I think is my favorite. Was also listening to the new Danger Mouse + Black Thought album and was digging it heavy.

Droog has been killing it this year, Yodney Dangerfield is great, Yod Stewart, Wolf on Wall St 2 w/Fahim and my personal favorite of this year YOD Wave with Craven on the production. My only complaint is he keeps churning out these 7 song EPS and pressing them up when he could just combine two of them and make it one LP. Yodney Dangerfield and Yod Stewart would have made a great full length project.

Black Thought & Danger Mouse - Cheat Codes

This is fantastic, I foresee this hitting the top of the year lists for many many people. Probably Black Thought's finest solo endeavor, he's still so sharp with his writing. The production is mostly amazing, I have some minor issues with a few tracks that border on just sounding like a Broken Bells track but that's about my only complaint.
