The longest band name ever. How is this one? I enjoyed the previous one from them?

It's good! Same formula, so you should like it. I found the first one to be more "mysterious" in sound, so I like it a little bit more than the new one. However, I'm still glad that I picked it up.

Some new hip hop arrived, long delayed, one was supposed to be here in May and the other was July.

Tha God Fahim & Your Old Droog - Tha Wolf On Wall St

I generally don't like Fahim, his cadence and monotone delivery usually bugs me but I do like YOD. This one is their first official joint album even though they usually are on a bunch of tracks together on their normal releases. The beats here are the standout and they both deliver solid bars. I really enjoyed this one when it released on digital and ordered it on vinyl immediately.

Tha God Fahim & Your Old Droog - Tha YOD Fahim

This one was not released digitally first, they did a pre-order for the vinyl which I ordered based off of how strong the album above was. Unfortunately it is not as good, beats are hit or miss and the verses vary in quality as well. There is a really great feature from Pharoahe Monch though that's worth listening to.

Dark Star Safari - Walk Through Lightly LP

Sounds similar to David Sylvian without sounding derivative.

I've done a poor job starting October with listening to something spooky everyday. Missed the first day of the month, so I'll be double-dipping today. Starting off with one of my favorite Lovecraft stories, "The Haunter of the Dark," on Cadabra Records.

It's good! Very propulsive, less meandering. It's a guitar/bass/drums combo on this one.
