if you pay more attention to the film, there really wasn't much a score. shame really.

I agree with you on that. The score for that was magic

I'll jump on that, Monster Club would be a fun one.

Dont really remember the score for Being John Malkovich, but I think I'll rewatch it tonight.

I'll be shocked if Mondo/Spencer haven't got some clever 10"/fancy sleeve release planned for this....

I haven't seen it in a while, but I remember two things about The Descent striking me:
1. The first use I can remember of the 'night vision camera' shock tactic, which was then used a million times.
2. A very Carpenter-esque, minimal score (strong echoes of The Thing, though that's not strictly Carpenter).

Anyone more familiar the score - is it worth a reissue? I could just watch the movie again and make up my own mind, I suppose!

I paid plenty of attention to the film both times I watched it, thank you. And the music I heard was awesome and well worth releasing.

Love to have this on vinyl! Beautiful in most places, terrifying in others!

I watched this go for almost $500 yesterday... such a funky gem, and obviously it needs a reissue!

great record although I've only heard the library lp that some of the tracks come from.

Patucchi's funky tunes are great, but it's his dark abstract stuff that gets me excited.

fingers crossed spencer has something from Patucchi lined up.

Not sure if anyone is familiar with the Vigilante 8 Games, but I'd love to see a pressing of the music come to vinyl. mostly 70's inspired funk beats, and if I had to pick between the two I'd have to pick Vigilante 2nd offense over the Original Vigilante 8. Both had great jams though.

Between the PlayStation 1 and N64 the music had the same track names, but different music. Here's a couple samples from the PS version.

Toshiro Mayuzumi's early jazzy scores (like 'I Hate But Love' and 'The Warped Ones' - those title sequences *have* to be on vinyl somewhere??)

Watched The Monster Club for the first time in years the other night. Some of the tunes from actual bands suck, aside from The Viewers slice of bubblegum punk, but I'd love someone to put out all Alan Hawkshaw's music from the ghoul story. Really cool & eerie, like a Ghost Box version of Creepshow. Here's a sample:

@kissoff - yeah, i have been wanting this soundtrack for a long time. Vincent Price is one of my all-time favorites. the only one i ever come across is that lunatic on ebay asking $359 for it, and it has been listed for several years at that price from what i remember...

@layneharvey an eye watering price. What a clot. I'd also be skipping the band tunes. Love the Pretty Things 60s stuff, but the tune on there is not for me. And as for B.A. Robertson.

The Hawkshaw stuff however, deserves a disc of its own.

I finally watched The Machine last night. Excellent soundtrack by Tom Raybould that was released on CD, but couldn't find any info on a vinyl release. I'd love to see this get released!
