i've said it before, and i'll say it again. we need some vincent price film love in this soundtrack reissue game. i mean, come on. witchfinder general? pit and the pendulum? fall of the house of usher? abominable dr. phibes? theatre of blood? all true classics! i got the original phibes vinyl a while back and was disappointed that it was just a bunch of Paul Frees tracks where he is impersonating people. not great. i need the score. some of these had expanded CD releases a while back, so something on vinyl would be really amazing.

This probably was mentioned previously, but I'm new. There's a mint copy of The Shining soundtrack at my local shop for $50. Is it worth it, or do you think it'll eventually get reissued? Any input would be greatly appreciated!

With the popularity of soundtracks right now, I'd be surprised if this did not get reissued in the next year or so, though I don't know anything about who owns the rights and stuff like that. But it is rare, and a mint copy at that price, I wouldn't hesitate to snag it. But that's just me

@Corpse if it is absolutely mint then I'd grab it. Its about the right price, I wouldn't say its a steal but it is a great soundtrack and well worth having.

Revisited the Van Damme kick and split fest "BloodSport" last's night. I forgothow good the soundtrack was. Sure, it has some cheesy 80's montage stuff, but overall very electronic and catchy Paul Hertzog jams. Would love a proper rerelease.
