Here's a new annex I'm opening within the forum labyrinth, come in and take a comfy seat and grab a beverage of your choice. A place to share solid rumours of releases, inside knowledge (just between us) and confirmed scoops. Mods, feel free to make this thread for MEMBERS ONLY, to avoid gifting the riff-raff with our solid gold intels :)

So I'll kick off then.

Anybody as much of a fan of the Full Circle/Colin Towns score as me? well I've been somewhat in contact with a guy who is involved in the film finally getting a restoration/re-release in 2023 and he informs me that a soundtrack reissue is being worked out with the composer's involvement. My guess would be that one of the larger OST labels is already working with them on this, and I'm really hoping this one gets an expansion and not just a straight reissue (of an LP you can pickup for less that ten bucks) with crappy splatterwax and naff comic book style sleeve art. I'd love if it was Silva Screen or MOV personally but we'll get what we get, early days.

I have no insider knowledge so I'll just create wildly off base rumors.

Starting with...Funko will purchase Waxworks in late 2023/early 24, merge Mongo/WW/DW into a super OST label charging $75 for single LP's and $100 for 2LP's, every release will come with custom Funko figure made specifically for the release, you are not allowed to purchase record as a standalone, since the figure is not media they can no long ship media mail only priority mail and will cost $25.
