This is actually a Drama record :( but, the anime has some cool musical numbers very pop folk psych grooves here and there. It's a really nice little kids flick with brilliant character design and a crazy story, my kids loved it.

Check the psychedelic number at 43:30 when the cats eat some hallucinogenic wild fruit :D

Beautiful stuff @eli

I have a question for you, do you have any of Tava Tavarare releases? They are based out of Italy. Their stuff seems very unofficial and I'm curious as to what the sound quality is on it.

yes @inksb i have all their releases. the japanese ones are 'unofficial', ripped from original CDs.
they are remastered but the quality is practically that of the CDs, not as bad as the dracula case for example, which was taken from another vinyl.
for collecting purposes they certainly have little value but for japanese lovers it is always nice to have certain things on wax.

Thanks for the info, Juno has a few at reasonable prices and I was thinking of grabbing Umi No Toriton, Yukuzo and Robot Danguard Ace. And that Tiger Mask LP looks fun but I'm unfamiliar with it. They don't have any distro in the US so I'm stuck paying higher prices on them which is why I've held off knowing nothing about the label.

Outstanding collection, good sir. I lost an auction for a copy of Eccentric Sounds of Spiderman a few weeks ago which was very disappointing. Some day. So many gems in your photos.

@elifunk awesome work! beautiful to see all these records organised by artist which, for me at least, is not necessarily so easy.

You are reminding me I need more shunsuke kikuchi and kentari Haneda :D

Will see if I can pull out all my Yuji ohno or hisaishi.

@def i didn't know Spiderman became hard to find it. Do you need the first press (serie CQ) ? i will let you know if i find a good copy

@dollar a group photo of yuji ohno is very challenging. they are more than 50 pieces. I still don't know how to take the photo.
perhaps by splitting the various lupins it is better managed.
I am very curious to see your joe hisaishi!

@inks
It's not in any way similar to his synth stuff and it's also part drama it has some nice upbeat discoish elements at times, with just a hint of electronics. But nothing like his more familiar stuff like the digital trip series.
