It's a shame the price is so steep for these releases. I'm sure the would sell a lot more if just £10 or £15 cheaper. I've seen some on discogs at around £20 to £30 but this is without shipping from Japan.

I ordered the Spirited away ost, but it's in an order with a pre order for after dark 3 from IDIB which isn't shipping until march apperently :l

It's also quite difficult to sample what these lps sound like. For example the mononoke image LP is really good (imo) but I would never have known before buying, was impossible to find clips on YouTube.

Was there a recent, official reissue of Tomb Of Dracula/闇の帝王吸血鬼ドラキュラ? Or is it only the grey area King Records one from a few years ago?

@mateo, nope, Not that I know of. Mystery Kindaichi band got an official reissue though.

Any tips on preserving a ripped obi? the bottom of this one is ripped and it's in the spot that catches incredibly easy when putting in the plastic jacket. I was thinking a small piece of tape on the back side? Any tips from my fellow Japanese collectors would be helpful.

I can't find much info on this one, maybe @eli has some info on it next time he stops in. It's new agey, ambient, weird cosmic spacey drifting and some beautiful melodic parts at times. Highly recommend checking this out. I included a youtube rip down below the pics.

I have a copy of that Orguss LP waiting in a Japanese warehouse for me, definitely one of the better DT releases. I started watching the show a while back, I've not seen any macross but Orguss seems like quite a cool show for the era. I have the OST, the Casey Rankin op theme is classic.

Interesting. I haven't seen it before either. That intro looks like it's got some nice animation and I may have to investigate more in the near future.

I'm going to introduce my wife to Bubblegum Crisis soon. It's time for a rewatch and she hasn't seen it before. SHould be fun
