Here is a list containing some Italian crime movies for those interested:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... =218275207

The data is based on two main sources:
http://www.pollanetsquad.it/
https://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Film_poliziottesco

soundtrack info from discogs

As with a lot of movies it is sometimes difficult to place them in 1 category. These titles can be classed under Italian crime movies in general. There are some titles from France and Spain in the mix as well.
I have added some remarks here and there to mention this difference.

Do note that the genre a movie belongs to can differ between which database you use. For instance, Giuliano Montaldo's 1967 Ad Ogni Costo/Grand Slam is classified as a poliziesco according to Pollant Squad, but it is not classified as a poliziottesco according to the Italian wikipedia page. I have seen the movie and classified it as a heist movie. There almost no policeman in sight but it is an Italian crime movie about a diamond heist.

If there are questions/remarks: let me know. I will update the list with more links to scores and titles.

(for people who missed my similar giallo list: see here: viewtopic.php?p=94735#p94735 )

-edit- replaced link with new file containing more soundtracks

It is a lot of fun creating a list like this. You learn about a lot of different composers and directors. There is a ton of unreleased stuff out there as well.

I redid this list. Made it a bit more user friendly to read. And added artwork for all releases in the form of the Italian locandina. Because of that the files size grew to 25Mb.

Best way to view it is to download it and open using excel. Opening it in google appears to leave out a lot of the artwork.

Attached is a printscreen of how it looks on my computer.

I also added a column with links to records under 30 euro on discogs.

I remade my giallo list. This was a pain to make. Happy I am done. Sort of.

It is 13 MB in size so I suggest you download it for ease of use.
The movies list contain are movies found in Troy Howards' So Deadly So Perverse Volume 1 and 2. There are also movies he doesn't see as true giallo but I added them based on Italian wikipedia. This year there was a Volume 3 containing giallo type movies from other countries then Italy. I still need to get it.

Anyways. The list looks like this:
