I still say it's really a TD score and The Berlin Game is just a pseudonym. :)

Berlin Game = Eric Allaman and Reinhard Scheuregger

Allaman was an uncredited co-composer on TD’s score for Legend. So there is definitely a TD connection there.

aghhhhh I finally just checked out that Dunwich Horror score and good lord, do I ever need that.

I wonder how the VS compares to the original AIR release sonically? ScoJo, any ideas?

Yep - it really is that good! Wish we could get Baxter's Beast Within score on wax.... hmmmmm ;)

They both sounded great actually - I no longer have my AI to compare directly but listened to it last week before selling and it was crisp AF. The Varese obviously sounds banging too.

my wife was just walked through the room as I was playing the song “Necronomicon” and on her way out she said “sounds like a satanic Jurassic Park” and I cannot stop thinking about this now.

I gotta tell you, I’ve been trying for over 10 years to make a decision about this score or the goldsmith score when I watch the movie. Obviously the international cut is a fuller movie but I’m so familiar with the US cut, but musically I literally cannot make a decision.

I usually watch the international cut because it’s a better film, but I miss the TD score while it’s happening.

Yeah that’s a really tough call. I give the edge to Goldsmith, but they’re both excellent scores.
