I grabbed this on eBay for cheap. When it arrived I thought to myself, this looks kind of like a bootleg. Went to discogs and it is. Sounds decent although it's really staticy even though I've cleaned it twice.

I got that bootleg as well this year. Love it! Best cover for that release. And I believe the Contempo re-issue is not the best sounding. And the CAM OG too expensive.

I have the feeling there isn’t as much love as there used to be with labels like DWRC and WW but they do and did release some tremendous stuff. Especially happy with the DWRC giallo titles.

I have and love plenty of their releases. I think the lack of love comes from the fact they have changed over the past few years and their love for releasing stuff has shifted. It's become more of a business than a labor of love. Whether that's part of being Mondo, lack of releases they are really excited to license, difficulty of getting licenses, too many other labels doing similar stuff etc. it all feels different compared to how it was 5 years ago.

I personally probably get less excited about stuff they put out these days but the two Godzilla releases are as excited as I've been in a long time (same with In The Mood For Love). Those two Nicolai releases you posted I was extremely excited about. So while the excitement may not be as often, they still do great work with questionable art :)
